Abstract

The development program for children of early and preschool age with intellectual disabilities was developed in accordance with the Concept of Education of Early and Preschool Children, the new version of the Basic Component of Preschool Education, modern achievements in the field of special pedagogy and psychology, domestic and global trends in early development and support for children with special educational needs. The program is presented in seven educational directions, structured according to a framework-scheme unified for all age periods of life, which includes the following elements: an explanatory note containing children's age-related capabilities, "Content of education and upbringing", "Educational tasks", "Indicators of the child's life competences". The Program reflects the modern content of the education of a child with intellectual development disorders from birth to seven years of age and reveals the topical issues of organizational and methodological support for harmonious and versatile personality development, creation of a developmental life space in the conditions of a preschool education institution, which provides for the development of play, cognitive, speech, subject-related -practical, musical and rhythmic, social and household activities, implementation of sensory, labor, patriotic education of children. The program is addressed to specialists of special preschool education institutions and institutions with inclusive education, inclusive resource centers, teachers and students of higher education institutions; to parents of children with special educational needs, to everyone interested in the problems of modern special pedagogy and psychology.
