Abstract

The teaching of the course "Foreign Literature" in special secondary schools for children with TPM until this period took place according to the same programs as in schools for children without speech disorders. However, despite the existence of the current program, the creation of which is based on the peculiarities of speech development of this category of students, practicing teachers emphasize the relatively low level of knowledge acquisition by students within the outlined school subject.
