Abstract

The program is developed on the basis of the State standard of basic and complete general secondary education (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 23.11.2011 № 1392) taking into account the State standard of primary general education (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 20.04.2011 № 462). The main purpose of studying the subject "World Literature" - to involve students in the achievements of world literature and culture, the development of creative personality (reader), the formation of a humanistic worldview, high morals, aesthetic tastes and qualities of a citizen of Ukraine who is aware of belonging to the world community.
