Abstract
The monograph analyzes the essence of giftedness in domestic and foreign scientific sciences, identifies new concepts of interaction between intelligence and creativity. Practical intelligence is substantiated taking into account the works of L. Vygotsky, R. Sternberg and other prominent psychologists. The traditional diagnostic methods are actualized and the significance of design creativity of the student youth is shown for the discovery of practical intelligence. The conceptual bases of diagnostics of practical intelligence of pupils and students in the context of Ukrainian science are formulated. The monograph is intended for practical psychologists, teachers of institutions of general, vocational, higher and postgraduate education, coaches, managers, entrepreneurs, and all who are interested in the level of development of their own practical intelligence.
