The article analyzes the conceptual approach of P.G. Redkin, a famous national scientist, to personal interactions in the educational space which is done for the first time in the educational and developmental psychology. The scientist’s conceptual idea of personal interaction understanding in the educational space is discussed; interactions are presented not as a mono-directed process in the “teacher – pupil” system but the synthesis of the “teacher – pupil” and “pupil – teacher” systems which is defined in the semantic field as the problem of “pupils’ assistance to their teacher”. The article reveals Redkin’s understanding of the nature of pupil’s self-activity development during academic interactions; his technique for self-activity development is presented. The analysis of spiritual power, “the pupils’ spiritual power” enrichment, moral force awakening, education of pupils’ sense of honour and dignity in personal interactions is performed.
