Abstract

Modernization processes in education, development Funkier, reinterpretation of the famous classifications of management functions and the emergence of a new cause and new requirements for post-functional competence of the head of the educational institution in the conditions of reformational changes and to study the current state of training of the head of the educational institution for management activity. Purpose. To disclose on the basis of the analysis, the qualitative state of training of heads of educational institutions of Kiev region for the administrative activity in the conditions of reformational changes. Results. The article gives a detailed analysis of the position of training of the heads of educational institution for the management activity in different areas of Kyiv region. There are results on the formation of administrative positions, principals’ attitude to different forms of the training and the advancement of the administrative competences, to the respondents in getting new knowledge, skills, competences, experience. Basic information on educational qualifications of the professional work of the principals, the directions and the results of the best management practice are presented. The article provides the systematization and the general views, positions, comprehension of a functionary competence of the respondents and the achievements in the administrative process. Conclusion. Analysis of the status of training to management activities allowed to identify the problems and educational needs of the respondents, to predict new trajectories of development management of managers, forms and technologies of their effective training in the context of the reformation changes. Effective ways of solving the described problems is the organization of systematic training of heads on the basis of higher educational institutions on a specialty “Management of educational institutions” and updating of knowledge on the basis of regional institutions of postgraduate education and the development stratagem of control and analytical activity of the head of the institution of education based on practice-oriented innovative activities, international experience of introduction of different types of strategic analysis, control and expert systems and technologies.
