Abstract

The article presents a methodology of fundamental research of phenomenon of culture in administrative activity of the head of educational institution. According to researched problems the choice of the optimal combination of theoretical and empirical research methods is proved and features of their application are opened. The attention is focused on the use of terminological analysis and means of ICT for enhanced search of base and derived categories of culture in the field of education on the Internet for the analysis of their structure, concepts and essence, definitions of categorical conceptual field. The results of the theoretical analysis led to the conclusion that the culture as a phenomenon exists in the spiritual, social and technological fields, characterizes the system of human activity and has versions in accordance with the types of administrative activity of the head of educational institution and belongs to the semantic field of management science.
