Abstract
Open science is still ambiguously perceived by both Ukrainian and foreign scientists. In some works, open science is identified with open access to existing scientific publications; in some it is an identification with another format of scientific publication; for others it is an open presentation of scientific data; or something like an open expert assessment; and in other studies, openness will ensure the participation of every citizen in the research process.
