Abstract
The article deals with the problem of subjective well-being of heads of educational organizations and their factors, which include, inter alia, career orientations of managers. The results of empirical research career orientations heads of educational organizations are shown, types of managers based on their career orientation are defined. Subjective well-being indicators of heads of educational organizations are analyzed, including life satisfaction index. As a result of analysis of variance the influence of career orientations heads of educational institutions on their subjective well-being are defined. It should be noted that the greatest life satisfaction as an indicator of subjective well-being heads of educational institutions are characterized managers focused on «serving»
