Abstract
The manual examines the main provisions and provides typical examples of describing documents of various types: published and unpublished; single- and multi-volume; nonperiodic, periodic, serial and continuing editions; mono-books and collections; documents on various types of information (printed, electronic), as well as the constituent parts of the documents complying with the requirements of the standards in force in Ukraine as of January 1, 2015. Different ways of designing book and pocket bibliographic lists are considered. The recommendations on choosing the list form and the way of grouping bibliographic records in it are given. Information is provided on the design of bibliographic references in scientific works: monographs, dissertations, abstracts of dissertations, articles, diploma and course papers, etc. The methodical recommendations will be useful during the preparation of monographs, dissertations, scientific articles, student's abstracts, course papers, diploma thesis, qualification works, which must necessarily be accompanied by bibliographic lists of sources used. The manual will help to meet such important requirements as actual authenticity and accuracy of bibliographic information, their unification.
