Abstract
The specific features of the national sabbath school’s organizational and methodic bases, structure and peculiarities as one among the most widespread Ukrainian schools, functioning abroad, are analyzed. The sabbath and sabbatic schools’ significance for saving the ethnical identity and young generation’s self-consciousness within Ukrainian diaspora is outlined. The certain examples, concerning work of regional sabbath schools in the Russian Federation are introduced.
