Abstract

The article researches results of scientific studies concerning vocational education and training system modernization. Scientific and methodical approaches to the development of vocational education and training in European countries, as well as the basic principles of the modernization of vocational education are shown. Directions of increase of efficiency of activity of the VET by forming of the new system of relations in area of skilled workers training between state and local governments, businesses, employers and employment services are offered. Theoretical and practical bases and organizational methods of the further reform of vocational education, development principles and content of multilevel education, the study of psycho-pedagogical factors, training, study the optimal structure of the educational process remain relevant.
