Abstract

The collection of papers presents the current problems of psychological support to the residents of Ukraine who for a long time live in a state of unannounced war. The results of scientific seminar “Psychological Support to a Person Experiencing the Consequences of Traumatic Events” that was held on June 21-22, 2015 (Kyiv, Ukraine) are presented. The seminar was attended by the staff members of the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and Ukrainian Research Center of Science Academy of Poland. Presented articles are addressed to the specialists in the sphere of practical psychology, crisis counseling, teachers of psychology in high schools, under-graduate and graduate students, volunteers, other practitioners who develop techniques of overcoming psychological traumatization and post-traumatic stress disorder, rehabilitation of combatants and internally displaced people.
