Abstract

The article exposes the assessment of the child and his familyneeds. Value of the assessment implementing of the client's needs at the present stage of social and socio-pedagogical work in Ukraine is presented. Theoretical basis of assessment is described (theory of attachment, restore, and the concept of strengths). Assessment of needs of the child and his family built on the conceptual and theoretical basis, strengthens its role in the system to ensure the rights of children in difficult circumstances. Position of attachment theory, recovery, periodization of child development, the concept of the strengths of the individual - the basis for the implementation of such an assessment, the formation of its indicators. However, apart from the laws of development of the individual, it is important to be aware of the essence, the value of all the components and indicators to measure, understand the logic of a common approach to its implementation. Allowance for this is a condition for effective evaluation needs of the child and his family, is carried out to identity or the identity of the growing educated and developed in a supportive environment. In other words, as a child on a personal level and at the level of society included in the system of long-term emotional and positive social interactions, relationships, is the basis of their own sense of security, assurance of their rights.
