Abstract

The author considers the content of teaching activities on the formation of senior students’ orientation to future professional success as follows: 1) ensuring an optimal personal development level of aspiration in activities, which is based on the determination of the scope of activities associated with feelings of success; understanding of the social usefulness of future career; knowledge of conditions of achieving professional success in a particular field and possessing the means of self-evaluation and self-improvement according to the requirements of the chosen profession; 2) creating a positive attitude to achieving high standards in personal activities related to the future profession; 3) activation of early self-organization and analysis of high school students’ activity aimed at obtaining future profession. The synthesis basis for the implementation of pedagogical methods of forming high school students’ orientation on future professional success is suggested to be the vocational guidance course «Career Building» for students of 10-11th grades. The course consists of three modules: the first module, for 10-grades students, «Professional Success: The Strategy of Movement» (35 hrs.), the second module, for 11-grades students, «Professional Success: A Project of Activities» (9 hrs.), and the optional module «Professional Success: Self-Improvement Directions» (practical work).
