Abstract
In March 2013 marks 150 years since the birth of Vladimir Ivanovich Vernadsky. The name of this brilliant thinker, naturalist, an outstanding scientist, mineralogist and geochemist, science and founder of new scientific directions - geochemistry, biogeochemistry and radiogeology, creator of theory of the biosphere and the noosphere, visionary founder of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences belongs to the golden fund of the greatest figures of the twentieth century .
