Abstract

The growth and expansion of private higher education in Ukraine has been analyzed in the article. The main objectives for the establishment of private higher school in Ukraine at the end of the 20th century have been determined. The main features, the employment oriented and market –friendly cources, for-profit and demand-absorbing nature of private higher education in Ukraine are characterized.
