Abstract
The paper by Sergiy Kurbatov “Elite Education in Ukraine in the Mirror of University Rankings: Quo Vadis?” is devoted to the analyses of the principles of building and the main results of university rankings in Ukraine in 2009-2010. The author stresses the importance of the creation of theoretical and methodological background of this process and indicated the concept of creation of university rankings in Ukraine, which was approved by research board of Institute of Higher Education NAPS of Ukraine in 2009 as an example of such activities.
