Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of the conceptual grounds for designing atextbook for adults. The author assumes that the textbook must correspond to theconcept a self-help manual which allows the subjects to involve their ownpersonality and accumulated experience into the process of their studies. Theteacher using it may as well have a free choice for realizing her pedagogicpriorities. The self-help textbook is designed so as to present the learning materialin a low structured and ambiguous way which is a precondition for person-orientedapproach in learning.
