Abstract

This article deals with new forms and methods of forming cross-cultural values in the educational work of higher pedagogical educational institutions. Special attention is paid to forms of educational work (individual, micro-group, group and mass). The author points out the peculiarities of organization of curator’s hours, special course, and meetings in the library, individual consultation and training activities with students directed at education of cross-cultural values, and considers methods of ethical dialogue, conversation, discussion, debates, exercises, creative tasks etc. The content, forms and methods of work used in the educational activities of higher educational institutions were aimed at the formation of а cross-cultural environment in higher pedagogical educational institutions, intercultural tolerance, dialogue of cultures, overcoming negative stereotypes,intercultural conflicts, the development of modern communications, skills of cross-cultural interaction.
