Abstract

The Institute of Problems on Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (9 Berlynskoho Str., Kyiv, Ukraine). The article reveals the distinctive signs of Ukrainian society and the social sphere of family. The socio-psychological portrait of a junior teenager is theoretically defined. The author determines the influence of friendly relations of family members on the formation of social and moral values of the child. The importance of cohabitation in the family as a factor of trust between parents and child is accentuated. The processes of formation of trust and distrust in childhood are traced. The problem of functioning of such opposites as trust and distrust has been touched. The conceptual approach to the problem of socially conscious formation of the personality of young teenager by means of the system «trust — distrust» is revealed. The author also investigates the innovative system «trust — distrust», its influence on the social conscious formation of a teenager’s personality. The basic function of «trust — distrust» is formulated. The attention is drown to the educational technology «Development of critical thinking». The problem of practical formation of a teenager’s personality based on the system «trust — distrust» is highlighted.
