Abstract

The article thoroughly investigates the impact of integrating STEM technologies on the process of forming professional competencies in future educators, with an emphasis on the potential of Smart complexes of academic disciplines. These complexes, incorporating the use of digital resources, interactive content, and online platforms, become critically important in creating a dynamic and flexible learning environment. The author deeply analyzes how innovative approaches can radically change teaching methods, making education more adaptive and corresponding to modern demands and challenges. A detailed examination of current trends in implementing STEM in the educational process in Ukraine allows us to identify key obstacles and challenges faced by higher education institutions. From outdated curricula and deficiencies in material and technical resources to the qualifications of the teaching staff – these challenges require a comprehensive approach and the development of effective strategies to overcome them. Special attention in the article is devoted to the significance of Smart complexes in the training of future educators. The author emphasizes that the educational process, enriched with digital technologies and interactive content, not only improves student engagement but also fosters the development of key skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and interdisciplinary analysis. The implementation of such complexes in the educational process demonstrates a positive impact on the development of student potential and preparation for work in the modern digital world. Concrete examples of successful implementation of Smart complexes in the educational process are provided, examining in detail how these innovations have been integrated into various academic disciplines and the impact they have on educational outcomes. Based on these examples, recommendations are formulated for the further development and implementation of Smart complexes in educational practice, with an emphasis on the need to create favorable conditions for innovation and continuous support for creativity and initiative from both teachers and students.
