Abstract

Tsytsiura K. V. Professional training of future Bachelors of Business Economics in the universities of the People’s Republic of China. – Qualification work on the rights of the manuscript. The thesis is to obtain the scientific degree of the Philosophy Doctor by the speciality 011 – Educational sciences. ‒ SIHE «University of Educational Management» of National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2023. Annotation content The thesis “Professional training of future Bachelors in Business Economics in the universities of the People's Republic of China” examined the theoretical and practical bases of the professional training of future bachelors in business economics in the universities of the People's Republic of China. It was found that the professional training of the future Bachelors in Business Economics in the higher education institutions of the People's Republic of China meets the world standards and has such trends as multiculturalism, bilingualism, axiological orientation of professional training, digitalization of higher business education, design of the educational process on competency basis and management of changes in business education. These trends are enshrined in the regulatory documents of the People's Republic of China, in particular in the Law “On the Higher Education” of the People's Republic of China; in the state educational standard of higher education of the People's Republic of China, which regulates the requirements for the special disciplines and their teaching methods in the professional training of the Bachelors in the economic specialities; in the educational and professional programs of the professional training of the Bachelors in “Business Economics”, “International Economics”. The factors of ensuring the quality of professional training for the future Bachelors in Business Economics in the universities of the People's Republic of China, which are divided into 2 categories (external and internal), have been determined and substantiated. The external factors include the joint involvement of the state and provincial level institutions in the provision of professional training of the Bachelors in Business Economics, systematic renewal of the material and technical base of the higher education institutions with support of the ministries of the People's Republic of China, state support for international academic mobility of the educational process participants, active involvement of the stakeholders in the professional training of the economists, promotion of educational project activity and its systematic interaction with other types of the professional training. The internal factors are represented by the content (connection of the education content with the sustainable development of the society and economics, a three-level formation of the education content, which is ensured by the joint involvement of the state, province and higher education institutions, provision of the competence-oriented education content, professionalization of English learning as a mandatory component of the educational and professional program), the educational and methodical (an introduction of the productive methods and technologies into the educational process) and organizational (support to the professional development of the scientific and pedagogical workers who provide the education of the Bachelors in Business Economics and the unity of external and internal control of the economists’ professional training). Thus, a comprehensive implementation of the identified and scientifically substantiated factors makes it possible to improve the quality of the professional training of the Bachelors in Economics and the level of the economic education of the future economists in Ukraine. The results of an empirical study have been presented, namely, the questionnaires with the students of the economic departments and in-depth interviews with the directors and teachers of the economic institute of the institution of higher education of the People's Republic of China, which confirm the hypothesis about the effectiveness of the professional training of the Bachelors in Business Economics in the universities of the People's Republic of China. A comparative analysis of the educational and professional programs of professional training of Bachelors in Business Economics in the institutions of higher education of the People's Republic of China and Ukraine has been carried out. The common and distinctive characteristics of professional education in Ukrainian and Chinese universities have been summarized. The similar components of the educational and professional program of the People's Republic of China and Ukraine (the duration of the educational and professional program (usually 4 years), the number of credits (240 ECTS), the percentage ratio of the mandatory and optional components of the educational and professional program, English for professional purposes as a mandatory component of the educational and professional program, forms, methods and technologies of learning, success monitoring of the economics students) testify to the possibility of approbation of the positive experience of the professional training of the Bachelors in Economics of the People's Republic of China in the related specialities of the higher education institutions of Ukraine. The differences include the organization of the practical component of professional training, the flexibility of the curricula, the bilingual nature of the education, an additional specialization, the importance of study work in professional training in Chinese universities; a fixity of the organization of the curriculum, the difference from the Chinese educational and professional programs, a ratio of the basic and selective professional disciplines from the various science areas in the Ukrainian institutions of the higher education. It has been established that the unique advantages of business education in China include: comprehensive provision of English language proficiency, Internet technology, business etiquette, and the culture of foreign countries for effective economic activities both within and beyond China; consideration of the peculiarities of economic education in other countries to promote the development of productive business relationships; comprehensive state examination for employment in public sector institutions; adaptability, flexibility, readiness for change, and consistency in achieving educational goals; practical orientation of economic education, including the active involvement of students in the activities of business incubators of leading companies in the country; students’ orientation towards the job market and attractive employment prospects for successful economics graduates. Based on the analysis of the experience of the professional training of the future Bachelors in Business Economics in the higher education institutions of the People’s Republic of China, the recommendations for its creative adaptation in improving the system of the professional training of the Bachelors in the economic specialities in Ukraine have been substantiated at the national, institutional and subject levels. The scientific novelty of the study is that: - for the first time in the theory of domestic professional education, the leading features of the professional training of Bachelors in Business Economics in the universities of the People's Republic of China were identified and substantiated, which is reflected in certain trends (multiculturalism, bilingualism, axiological orientation of professional training, digitalization of higher business education, design of the educational process on competency basis and management of changes in business education) and in the following factors of its effectiveness: joint involvement of the state and provincial level institutions in the provision of professional training of the Bachelors in Business Economics, systematic renewal of the material and technical base of the higher education institutions with support of the ministries of the People's Republic of China, state support for international academic mobility of the educational process participants, active involvement of the stakeholders in the professional training of the economists, promotion of educational project activity and its systematic interaction with other types of the professional training, connection of the education content with the sustainable development of the society and economics, a three-level formation of the education content, which is ensured by the joint involvement of the state, province and higher education institutions, provision of the competence-oriented education content, professionalization of English learning as a mandatory component of the educational and professional program, introduction of the productive methods and technologies into the educational process, support to the professional development of the scientific and pedagogical workers who provide the education of the Bachelors in Business Economics and the unity of external and internal control of the economists’ professional training; - the content of the concept of “professional training of the Bachelors in Business Economics” has been clarified in the context of identifying its key features and ensuring quality, which involves a purposeful continuous process of mastering a set of basic and applied professional knowledge, skills, norms of behaviour and experience by the students of higher education in the field of the economics and business, development of the socially important values and professional qualities as a system of competence for performing the specialized tasks and applied tasks according to their major as well as the implementation of a successful economic activity within the country and abroad; - scientific and pedagogical regulations regarding the organization of professional training of the Bachelors in Business Economics in higher education institutions of Ukraine acquired further development, with the consideration of the ideas of the People's Republic of China regarding the need to master foreign languages and Internet technologies along with the features of business etiquette and culture of foreign countries for successful economic development activities in the country and abroad. The practical significance of the obtained research results lies in the development and introduction of the recommendations into the educational process of institutions of higher economic education of Ukraine regarding the use of positive experience of professional training Bachelors in Business Economics in the universities of the People's Republic of China, subsection 1.6. “Foreign experience in the development of digital competence of scientific and pedagogical employees of higher education institutions” of the methodological manual “Professional development of pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical employees in the conditions of open education”, the author's interdisciplinary special course “Development of professional competence of future economists in universities of the People's Republic of China”. The materials of the thesis can be used to update the educational and professional programs for the professional training of future Bachelors in Business Economics, the curricula, the programs, the teaching and methodical manuals, the abstracts of the lectures and seminar classes on the theory and methods of the professional education and comparative pedagogy, in carrying out of the further scientific studies on the comparative pedagogy.
