Abstract

The war has brought significant changes to the educational process, demanding rapid adaptation and the development of new teaching approaches. This article primarily focuses on identifying the key destructive consequences of the war for higher pedagogical education, based on an analysis of the current state of blended learning in higher educational institutions of Ukraine under wartime conditions. The article comprehensively outlines the key destructive impacts of the war on higher pedagogical education at three levels: national, institutional, and individual participants of the educational process, considering three components (psychological, methodological, technological). The authors substantiate various ways to maximize the effectiveness of psychological, methodological, and technological resources, which play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of blended learning in wartime. These approaches will be particularly valuable for developing various strategies and tools to support teachers in implementing effective blended learning models, as well as adapting teaching materials and methods to conditions of limited resource access and altered educational environments. Crucially, the development and trial of technologies to maximize the resources of blended learning are emphasized to ensure the theoretical and practical training of the supervising teacher in higher pedagogical education institutions, taking into account the theoretical justification of ways to maximize the effectiveness of psychological, methodological, and technological resources of blended learning during the war and post-war recovery of Ukraine. Overall, the authors of the article offer a comprehensive view of the challenges of blended learning in wartime, highlighting key challenges and proposing effective solutions to overcome them, which is of significant importance for the development of the educational sphere in contemporary conditions.
