Abstract

The paper covers the document filling of information bibliographic Outstanding Teachers of Ukraine and the World resource developed by V. O. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine and other electronic resources developed by different establishments that highlight Vasyl Oleksandrovych Sukhomlynskyi’s life, activity, oeuvre, and contribution to pedagogical science development. It is argued that the interest of researchers, teachers to the life and work of V. O. Sukhomlynsky is growing, spreading in Ukraine and in the world. The electronic resource "Outstanding Teachers of Ukraine and the World" makes it possible to effectively introduce biographical information on the life and work of V. O. Sukhomlynsky into a scientific circle, contributes to the deep disclosure of his personality, the contribution of the teacher to the development of science and practice, popularization of the fund of the State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine the name of V.O. Sukhomlynsky, information provision of scientific and educational programs, improvement of qualifications of educators, assistance in conducting educational, educational measures, popularization of the best teaching methods tkiv Ukrainian and foreign pedagogy and education. A wide range of users of Ukraine and the world, using this information, will deepen their information needs, improve the quality of their research on the history of pedagogical science, education.
