Abstract

In the article, the conceptual-terminological framework of research on andragogical principles of professional development for scientific and pedagogical workers in higher education institutions is examined in the context of informal and non-formal education. The key concept of the study is defined as «andragogical principles of professional development for scientific and pedagogical workers in higher education institutions». The basic concepts of the research are identified and analyzed, including «higher education institution», «informal education», «scientific and pedagogical worker», «non-formal education», «personal development», «professional competence», «professional training», «professional development», and «professional development of scientific and pedagogical workers in higher education institutions».
