Abstract

The article is devoted to the advanced approaches to creating a collection of digital educational resources. The main tasks related to the search for electronic collections of documents have been named (combining electronic resources under a single sign for their purposeful distribution; saving valuable scientific and historical values and documents from library and archive holdings; saving digital copies of real objects; ensuring validation of information about objects; ensuring manual access to digital collection objects; increasing the complexity of information services and expanding the range of information services for additional service functions; creation, organization and distribution of information on the Internet about certain digital objects; promotion of increased accessibility to information on any topic, etc). The concept of creating a digital collection of an electronic library is indicated, which transfers the organization's work to the selection of documents for the collection, their digitization, deposit and registration of electronic documents; An algorithm for creating an electronic digital collection has been installed. The main stages of the creation of a digital collection have been established (the main subject and development of the concept, setting goals and setting goals; development of the technology for creation and support of the digital collection; development of the concept of the life cycle; development of the structure of the collections ii; detailing together; identification of principles and criteria for the selection of material; exploration of prospects for the development of the collection ; creation of metadata; description of a digital collection; creation of records of a digital collection and elements of metadata; establishment of connections between the collection and documents included before it; assigning a name to the digital collection ї; authoritative record of the name of a digital collection; indexing of digital objects; indexing of digital collections; abstracting of collections; presentation of collections on web portals; organization of searches; distribution of digital collections, advertising; review of electronic collections, preparation of supporting documents; verification of digital content etc.).
