Abstract

The practical guide was prepared by scientists of the H.S. Kostyuk Institute of Psychology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine based on the practical experience of applying many of the presented methods in Ukraine, the USA, Israel, Western European countries, and Australia. These methods are scientifically based, tested and approved by specialists. They can be used not only to diagnose manifestations of adaptation disorders in subjects of the educational space, but also to carry out screening and psychological diagnosis of war victims (adults and children). The manual contains information about the basic principles of psychodiagnosis of victims and the peculiarities of psychodiagnostic work with this population category; about psychological trauma and reactions to it. The practical manual is addressed to practical psychologists, social workers, teachers of general educational institutions. It will also be useful for preschool teachers, parents and the wider pedagogical community.
