Abstract

The problem of individual adaptation to the post-COVID period and mechanisms for overcoming the feeling of uncertainty after the pandemic are considered. A sense of uncertainty and self-isolation cause ontological anxiety and impede the realization of the ability to influence one's own life. The main psychological mechanism for overcoming these factors is the development of hardiness as a means of self-regulation, which helps to transform stressful influences and develop an existential outlook and psychological maturity.
