Abstract

The article highlights the results of a theoretical study of the transformation of values and time perspective in the conditions of an extreme situation. The basic grounds for understanding the concept of "temporal perspective of the individual" are defined, and an analysis of its content is given. Modern scientific studies of time perspectives have shown their leading role in the management of a person's time in his own life, confirmed that life goals, set adequately to his abilities, opportunities, systems of knowledge and experience, as well as ways of their realization in a given social context, serve as a support in the organization of activity in the present . It is shown that the key changes in values and meanings are their loss in a new situation. A person experiences an internal conflict arising from the need to establish new values and meanings, to choose new approaches to their achievement.
