Abstract
The scientific works were analyzed, which highlighted the experience of organizing distance learning in the conditions of quarantine restrictions and martial law in Ukraine; the experience of foreign countries in responding to COVID-19 in education was considered; the impact of globalization and technological development of society on scientific activity, education system, organization and technology of the educational process is characterized; Pedagogical priorities of digitization of education are determined. The review of individual Ukrainian and foreign sources proves that the phenomenon of digitization of education is relevant, multidimensional and requires further study.
