Abstract
The conditions for detecting and preventing the development of maladjustment among students of vocational education institutions under martial law are substantiated. The reasons for the lack of preparedness among the graduates of vocational training (PT)O for professional activity have been revealed. The need to introduce at enterprises a new form of support for graduates of vocational education institutions in their adaptation to the production environment - onboarding - is argued. It has been proven that a properly constructed onboarding process can become a key factor in the adaptation of young employees - graduates of vocational education institutions to the modern realities of the labor market and contribute to their further successful professional development.
