Abstract

The importance of emotional sensitivity of parents for successful adaptation of a child to school life is considered. The problem of low level of awareness of parents about the importance of emotional aspect of readiness of a child for school is highlighted. The necessity of creating an emotionally rich, sensitive and receptive environment in the family that fosters the harmonious development of a child and his or her socialization is emphasized.
