Abstract

This manual was developed within the framework of the UNICEF project «Ensuring the Continuity of Education and Development of Preschool Children in Crisis Conditions in Ukraine», which is implemented by the UPB «Association of Preschool Education Workers» with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Institute for the Development of Education. The opinions expressed in the publications do not necessarily reflect the policies and views of UNICEF. The manual contains the concept of organization and implementation of continuous educational processes in a mixed format with preschool children (5-6(7) years old). It is aimed at deepening the psychological and pedagogical knowledge of adults who take care of the development of preschoolers in the conditions of educational institutions and family upbringing. It highlights the peculiarities of preschool education in organizing the educational process in a mixed format and submits the model of its organization. The qualification requirements for the teacher who organizes the educational process are described. The expectations and role of parents (family) in involving a child in preschool education are outlined. The topics, forms, and methods of organizing educational interaction are given, as well as markers of the success of the organization of the educational process. Advisors for preschool teachers and parents have been developed for this manual, highlighting the ways and means of implementing a continuous educational process in a mixed format with children 5-6(7) years old.
