Abstract

The study of the value orientations of the individual experiencing the remote consequences of mental trauma as a connecting link between his inner world and objective reality will allow to explain the refraction of the parameters of the traumatic circumstance due to the individual psychological characteristics of the person. The destruction of the system of value orientations, which occurs under these conditions, inevitably leads to complex mental states, which can be generally defined as maladaptation.
