Abstract

One of the priority directions of digital transformation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the digitization and automation of processes related to military and weapon management, widespread adoption of robotic systems and unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as other high-tech systems and devices. Improving the quality and speed of strategic decision-making in the defense sector and management processes both in combat situations and in everyday military activities can only be achieved through maximum digitization and digital transformation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a whole. Digital transformation based on the aforementioned approaches will ensure a modern technological landscape for implementing the provisions of the National Security Strategy of Ukraine, primarily through the use of unified digital services within automated information systems, combat management based on integration of management functions, communication, reconnaissance, and observation; development of cyber security capabilities, which will in turn enable the necessary compatibility for Ukraine's integration into Euro-Atlantic and European security structures, reaching a fundamentally new level of IT maturity in the defense sector and preparation of human capital.
