Abstract
The purpose of the study is to determine the best domestic practices for the development of web-oriented encyclopedias based on the analysis of functional features and their software implementation. In the course of the scientific search, the programmatic and functional aspects of the creation and support of Ukrainian online resources of encyclopedic purpose in the Ukrainian segment were analyzed.
