Abstract
Ways of transformation of the domestic professional education system are considered. Three broad areas are outlined, in which urgent actions are needed to ensure transitions to new quality: transfer of technologies to the educational process and formation of modern skills among graduates; formation of new value relations to the subjects of the educational process and between them; development and reorientation of management of the professional education system in conditions of decentralization.
