Abstract

Empirically defined the peculiarities of motivation for volunteer activity in the medical field as Component of vital competence of personality. It is established that the volunteers of the medical industry that act under crisis conditions, differ from volunteers in other areas of assistance to the victims during wars with low care of one's own comfort and safety, reduced need to join social groups and low desire for creative activity. It has been found out that identified motives, with one hand, determine the choice of volunteer activity to provide medical care Military and civil, on the other - deplete the psychological resource of the individual. Proposed certain ways to resolve the specified contradiction.
