Abstract

It is stated that the problem of learning losses is gaining priority in view of the prospects for their consequences in the future. The strategies proposed by the international community are aimed not only at restoring learning losses, but also at addressing structural problems of education through reforms. The list of strategies covers, in addition to the educational component, the school climate and support for each student. This can include intensive support to compensate for lost education, restore physical and mental health, and social development of students. International experience shows that a key condition for minimizing the level of learning losses is the resumption of the educational process. It is concluded that in the context of war, it is important to take into account all innovative foreign ideas, in particular, the complexity of the concept of learning losses, which should cover both cognitive and non-cognitive losses, including educational, socialization, and emotional losses.
