Abstract

The article updates the influence of globalization on the educational environment in the conditions of sustainable development of the region, identifies the features of using modern digital technologies for the development of the educational environment. The idea of sustainable development is based on the recognition of a person as the main value, rights and tasks of the development of the culture of society and unfolds in the context of creating conditions for quality education, namely: the implementation of measures to introduce innovations into the education system, ideas, values, principles of sustainable development in education and formation of digital competence of the subjects of the educational process, Using the schematic modeling method, a recommended model for the activation of the use of modern digital technologies of the information and educational space in the development of the educational environment and a modular model for achieving the goal of the study using all elements that constitute its resource, aimed at the development of educational environment and participants in the educational process. The study has its limitations: during the study, the process of ensuring the sustainable development of the region was investigated only in the context of the development of the educational environment, its digitalization and modernization.
