Abstract

In the strategic directions of military-patriotic education of children and student youth in the education system of Ukraine, the priorities of military-patriotic education of children and youth in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war and in the post-war period are revealed. The main challenges of the state of war and post-war reconstruction of the country are highlighted: institutional, infrastructural, socio-cultural and educational. Emphasis is placed on the organizational and legal foundations of modern military-patriotic education of children and youth. Its main principles are singled out and methodological tools are characterized. The key methods of raising patriotism of children and youth have been determined.
