Abstract

The peculiarities of educational decentralization of Canada under the conditions of the multicultural society of the country in the modern realities of the democratic development of the world are considered. It is revealed that political demands prompted changes in the format of the functioning of the authorities in education through the cooperation of the central and local authorities, regulation of policies to take into account the characteristics of local communities and their educational requests, which contributed to the transformation of society and further decentralization of education.
