Abstract

The methodical recommendations present a model of crisis interaction of the subjects of the educational process on tertiary prevention (postvention) of suicide or suicide attempts in an educational institution. The model was developed based on the results of an empirical study of educators' current requests and the analysis of the best global practices described in the scientific literature. A detailed description of the socio-psychological technologies of the crisis interaction of the pedagogical community, family, and community at each stage of implementing measures for the tertiary prevention (postvention) of suicides in an educational institution is provided. These are technologies: assessment of the educational institution's readiness to implement postvention measures in case of suicide or suicide attempt; non-inductive and non-traumatic message about suicide in interpersonal communication and media environment; assessment and support of the well-being of witnesses of suicide. Presented are modern approaches to identifying suicidal tendencies in students of an educational institution in the conditions of distance learning and strategies for overcoming complicated feelings in individual and collective reactions to suicide or its attempt in an educational institution. It is addressed to teachers, practicing psychologists, social pedagogues, managers, teachers, students, pupils, parents, representatives of public organizations, and a wide range of readers interested in this issue.
