Abstract

The theses reveal the scientific views of M. Shlemkevych regarding the understanding of the human concept on the basis of the socio-anthropological code of the Ukrainian philosophy of education; his main ideas regarding the development of Ukrainian Galician pedagogy of the 20th century are shown, the essence of which was the preservation and development of the ethno-cultural identity of Ukrainians in the conditions of the colonization of the lands of Ukraine and the justification of the needs of Ukrainians in national revival.
