Abstract

The use of social networks by librarians of general secondary education institutions as a resource for their own professional development was studied. Examples of social networks and blogs of school librarians are given. in the conditions of digitization of education. It is stipulated that school librarians use various resources for their own professional development (printed publications, books, magazines, Internet resources, participation in professional associations and, in particular, social networks), which allows them to fulfill their professional duties and carry out constructive discussions in online modes.
