Abstract

In order to identify the level of formation of rhetorical skills of upper secondary school pupils, the issues related to their self-esteem as a special level of self-awareness development were investigated. The analysis of the obtained results proved that it is the social and psychological approach to personality education with the help of solving systematized educational rhetorical situations and tasks that contributes to adequate speech behavior, self-determination regarding future professional activities, recognition and overcoming of barriers that can hinder successful performance of social roles in adult life.
