Abstract

The article focuses attention on the need to review the content of aesthetic education - as an important factor influencing the formation of personality - from the standpoint of Ukrainian-centricity. One of the sources of enriching the content of art education and aesthetic education is the art of the Ukrainian diaspora, which is still little known in Ukraine. Its more active use in educational technologies will contribute to the formation of schoolchildren's priority attitude to Ukrainian culture and the idea of ​​its unity.
