Abstract

Theses consider the key normative aspects of the formation of digital competences among students of education, which are aimed at the introduction of digital tools into the modern educational environment in order to improve the quality of education. A number of problems related to the digitization of education and, as a result, the formation of digital competences, were identified, in particular: lack of adequate funding, lack of modern technologies, namely the obsolescence of technologies, unpreparedness of participants in the educational process for learning in an online environment. The main components of digital competences are singled out, the legal principles of digitalization of education are summarized. It was concluded that digitalization is one of the key directions of the transformation of the education system and involves the use of digital technologies in the educational process in order to ensure the quality and accessibility of education, to strengthen the individualization and differentiation of learning, to develop and deepen the digital competence of an individual.
