Abstract

The article defines the role of simulation programs in distance learning. The aspects of introducing a competent approach to the professional training of future specialists of professional institutions are highlighted. Considered and analyzed modern means of computer technology in education, which provide an opportunity to radically improve the effectiveness of both the teacher and the student. The article reveals the main issues of implementing simulation technologies in combination with distance learning. Simulation programs simulators allow students to create networks, administer, change parameters and settings. Presented basic simulation programs simulators, which provide information and technological support and accompaniment of professional training of future specialists for the directions of "Information Communication Networks", "Telecommunications". Conducted surveys among teachers and students of professional institutions, and analyzed the role of simulation programs in distance learning. The problems of formation of digital competence of teachers in accordance with the requirements of the development of the information society and their role in carrying out practical or laboratory work in vocational institutions were considered. The analysis of domestic and foreign experience regarding the introduction and use of information and communication technologies in educational institutions. After all, today the main priority of any developed country and its strategy is to improve the quality of education and, above all, the effective introduction of information and communication technologies, digitalization of education. The results of the experimental study confirm the hypothesis that the use of simulation programs in the work will significantly increase the effectiveness of distance learning.
